Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions families ask us most often. For anything else, message us on WhatsApp.
How do you find the grave if I don’t have its exact location?
The name of the deceased, the date of passing and the cemetery are usually enough. We search with the cemetery, then locate the grave on the first visit. We send you a photo so you can confirm it is the right one.
Who recites the prayers?
A member of the Kavod Aharon team, at the grave, in the name of the deceased and their mother (or father, according to your family’s custom). Kaddish requires a minyan: we arrange one on request.
When do we receive the photos?
On the day of the visit, on WhatsApp: dated before-and-after photos. With the Eternity plan, a video of the prayer is included too.
Which tradition do you follow?
Sephardi or Ashkenazi, as the family wishes. Just mention it in your request.
Which cemeteries do you cover?
The main cemeteries in Israel. Tell us where your loved one rests and we will quickly confirm that we can take care of it.
How do I pay?
We explain the payment options when we reply to your request. You can pay in euros, dollars or shekels.
Can I stop the subscription?
Yes. You have 14 days after subscribing to change your mind: we refund you in full, unless the grave has already been located (we then keep $90). After that, the subscription runs for one year and renews every year. We write to you at least one month before each renewal, and a simple message is enough to stop it. If a visit cannot take place (for example, the cemetery is closed), we reschedule or refund it.
Tell us about your loved one
